Roing, Arunachal Pradesh
The bridge provides year round access to strategic Dibang Valley of Arunachal Pradesh. Numerous temporary bridges built across the Eze river had been washed away in the fury of torrential monsoons. Therefore, a permanent structure with well foundation was proposed at the site.
Bridge was stuck for more than 10 years before the work was awarded to us. Once awarded to us, construction was started on all fronts to complete the project in record time of 18 months.
Structure consists of 2 side spans of 50m and 2 central spans of 100m. Superstructure has been constructed using form travelers casting segments of 3m in each cycle.
Deopani Bridge is both a strategic connection for Indian Army and a favourite picnic spot for locals of Roing Town.
