Jabla Bridge

Project Overview

Bridge is located on a tributary of Jhelum river on road Uri Muzaffarabad. Bridge is located in quintessential Kashmir Valley setting just outside Uri town on way to Muzaffarabad in Pakistan. Bridge forms part of highway upgradation linking historically significant cultural and trade route of Kashmir linking important towns of undivided Kashmir. The route is being revived to increase trade and cultural exchange between Pakistan and India in hopes of normalizing relations.

Structure

The bridge is a single span of 60m PSC Span on open foundation abutments.
